David Alvey expresses his artistic visions in a variety of media, including photography, mixed media assemblages and poetry.

He has performed and exhibited
at numerous venues & festivals, including the well-known ARTNOW in Washington, DC, the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, and the Deep Ellum Art Festival in Dallas.

Alvey is the founder of Aardvark Studios, a Dallas advertising and PR agency, and also established the annual Aardvark Studios Celebrity Garage Sale, benefiting the Leukemia Society of America.

Alvey has published several poetry chapbooks, including Aard Times and Aard Labor: Motherhood from a Father's Perspective, and two collections of poetry; Art's Alive and Kids' Talk. Alvey has been recognized by Who's Who in the South & Southwest, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Business, and the International Dictionary of Biographies.
