According to founder and lead guitar "Cadillac" Jack Calmes, The Forever Fabulous Chickenhawks Showband and All-Star Revue was created in 1980 as an alternative to extensive psycho therapy.

The band's motto is "the mind of a chicken - the heart of a hawk" which is meant as an incisive, zen-like vector shooting straight to the heart of rock 'n roll...or not.

The Hawks give new meaning to the word eclectic & have created a sound that only 250 years of combined writing, recording and performing experience can deliver.

Having lived through the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, there is nothing to prove and absolutely no holds barred with this band. It is about music and the joy of creative expression, no strings attached.
