Beth March migrated to San Diego, California after receiving her BFA from the University of Oklahoma. Before turning to her current concentration in print making, she worked in multi medias, including acrylic painting, terra cotta sculpture, and copper enameling. She has continued to study print making since 1992 with Sfona Pelah, MFA, Rochester Institute of Technology. Currently, Ms. March employs etching, aquatint, linoleum, and collagraphy to produce her print making. The three most important elements Ms. March uses in her work are pattern, movement, and emotion.
Work by the artist is in the permanent collection at OU in Norman, Oklahoma, as well as in many private collections. Ms. March participates in local competitions and currently displays her work at her Severin Gallery in La Mesa, California.

Lone Star Collection Statement of The “Artist Beth March.”

While looking at Beth’s work, I felt that I was getting a glimpse into the secret garden of the mind. Minimalist in style, yet intricate in details, her work provokes recollections of times gone by. This she does through a variety of subjects, styles, and moods and wicked sense of humor. Memory and imagination blend into images that draw the viewer in, almost as if she’s letting us in on her secrets. Enjoy!
